Google dance! PR updated.

nvm i did some digging and in now way adsense is realted to pagerank.
Various webmasters done tests and found no difference ion revenue from pr6 to pr1 domains.

I just heard it somewhere and thought to confirm it with you guys. Doing some googling helped too.

Bottom line: PR does not affect adsense revenue.(from what i could find anyway)

The reason why some webmasters are looking to raise up their PR is because they often offering link sales or paid reviews. Sites with high PR, most of them have authority thus when you do paid reviews with them, they tend to be valuable towards your traffic.

But PR is useless for proxies, rather than PR why not concentrate on SERPS ranking.

Indeed what proxies2u said is true. High PR doesnt boost your SERPs rankings, SERPs rankings factors are considered by the kind of backlinks you get to your site. Are they backlinks from relevant content, same niche? Are they backlinks from high PR authority sites like PR 6-10. These are some of the factors that will boost Search Engine rankings for off-page optimization. PR is only a rough guage on how much PR juice you are getting from PR sites. If your site is a car site and you get a backlink from another PR 5 football website, chances are you are gonna get between PR 3 but it probably arent gonna help you improve much in the SERPs compared to another PR 2 car website that has more relevant backlinks to it though it has lesser PR, it will rank above your site in this case.

The google "dance" is something very different to a PR update.

Google update PR several times, what they do every 3-4 months is export a not very useful historical snapshot of that internal PR to the toolbar for us to look at it dosen't affect the SERPS as its already been factored into the rankings.

PR updates are still working their way through the datacenters, however, PR isn’t as important as what it was 18 months ago!!!

Nice some of my sites went up to PR 4-5 this update Frankly I dont really care about page rank except for directories as that is the main selling point of review links.
