Help with Hotlinking

I have a problem with my proxy.
Everytime I click browse on my proxy it refreshes and comes up with an error message "Hotlinking directly to proxified pages is not permitted." but if you press it a second time it works.
Has anyone experienced this before?

the problem could be your domain, try to whitelist your own domain or better start using a real domain

If you are also using .htaccess to block hotlinking, make sure direct requests are explicitly allowed.
